Your faith in God matters to God. In fact, God is most honored through your living, active, death-defying, out-of-the-box faith. Join us as we discover what God uses to grow your faith.
Once Upon a Time is an annual tradition for us at North Creek. We take several weeks to share some of the epic stories in the Bible. I love hearing these stories of faith, challenge, trust, and the sheer amazement of our God. This year we bring you the stories of Nehemiah, Abraham, David and Goliath, Moses, and the Tower of Babel.
You have to be different to make a difference. You have to think different, react to problems different, and speak different. You have to, at the very core of who you are, believe different things about the world than the world believes about itself. You have to look at your checkbook and your calendar through very different eyes. You have to do what feels very unnatural with a faith that is unwavering. And yet, so often, Christians fall into the same patterns as people who don't have a faith in God. Too little time and too little money handcuff us to normalcy. It was with that we began an outreach challenge with our small groups several weeks ago. Watch the video to find out how they made a difference.

At our last Network Conference our church was recognized for having the most baptisms per capita out of the nearly 400 other churches in our fellowship. Nearly 28% of our congregation was baptized in 2008! That was the single most important moment for me! There is nothing more valuable in my eyes than people deciding to follow Jesus and choosing to get baptized. It is our core belief that if you tell people what the Bible says about baptism, they will be baptized. Most people don't forgo baptism for any other reason than not understanding it. That is why we set aside a Sunday every year to teach on baptism and to remember the purpose behind our baptisms.
As men our philosophy of life is "Go Big or Go Home!". In other words, if it's not big it doesn't count. The principle of minor adjustment doesn't ignore our need to do things big, but compliments it. It's the little things that we continually do that makes a big difference in our lives; Especially when we apply it to our relationship with our wife and kids. I'm continually impressed by the quality of men we have at North Creek Church.
Our words have the potential to shape and influence or to destroy. The bible says the tongue has the power of life and death. Such a small thing to have so much power. There is a lot at stake if left untamed. We must learn to control our tongue and use our words to build others up. 'Words' is a powerful series where we learn how to use our tongue to speak life and encourage those we come in contact with.
If we as parents were to pick one attribute we would want our children to have, what would it be? Rich? Honest? Respected? Obedient? Jesus encountered a young man who had each of these qualities but looked into his eyes and told him he lacked one thing. While these are all good traits for our kids to have, Stacy Newell shares with us the one thing she wants to pass on to her kids. 
In this three week series we'll be taking a look at one of the most heinous and influential characters in the Bible. He was a man who went from killing Christians to writing most of the New Testament. His life was changed! This same God who transformed Paul's life is also able to transform ours. 
Jesus always spoke the truth but that doesn't mean his disciples understood what he was saying. The death of Jesus on the cross was a shock and disappointment to those who followed him. What would their lives now become? Little did they know that they were about to have a defining moment- a moment when faced with the truth and everything changed!

It's vision week! Several weeks every year we talk about why we do what we do as a church. In this message Mark Newell talks about our structure and the value that Jesus put in coming just as you are. North Creek Church's foundation is providing a place to belong and learn about Jesus. Come as you are! Our mission is to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Mark shares with you how our mission plays out in the very DNA of our church.
Our world has confused the issue of sex in our lives. Sex was created by God and is a beautiful thing in the context of marriage. In this series we dive into the scriptures and find out what our perspective should be. We also touch on what you should do if you've already messed up in this area, which is true for so many of us! It's time to allow God to repair this area of our lives and renew our determination to live according to His Word.
This is a series that is timely and potentially life changing. We will be taking a look at balance and faith in your finances. The Bible is chocked full of verses about money! God cares about this area of your life! He wants you to feel good about your perspective of money and the number in your bank account. The world right now looks bleak and fatalistic about the economy. Every time you turn on the TV it seems to get worse and worse. The good news is if you find that you are upside down financially, God has given us the tools to self correct and become balanced again.
