The Mission of North County Community Food Bank is to provide an emergency safety net to North County Residents in crisis and distress, with the goal of helping individuals and families build more stable, independent, and productive lives, and thus enhancing the general well-being of the community.
North County Community Food Bank is able to link residents in crisis to these services because of community donations of money, food and time.
Get InvolvedGroups/Families/Individuals: If you would like to support the Food Bank and your community by volunteering you can help by doing any of the following: Stocking shelves , Commodities distribution, Food drives, Bring your truck to haul with, Filling food boxes, Special projects…etc.
Please also consider donating the following:
- All foods that are not open, out of date or home canned.
- Peanut butter, canned chicken or tuna, canned fruits and canned beans are major staples the Food Bank is always in need of. High protein food items are the focus
- School Supplies
- Garden Produce
- Good used grocery bags
